What’s Included in the 24-Hour Support Package
Pre-Surgery/Procedure Planning Visit
Before your surgery/procedure, your Care Companion conducts a thorough in-home planning visit to make sure every practical detail is ready. We confirm all medications are filled and organized, ensure appropriate meals and groceries are available, help select comfortable clothing for surgery/procedure day, check that your home is safe and accessible, and arrange any supportive equipment you may need — such as a walker, crutches, shower seat, or other recovery aids. By the time your surgery/procedure day arrives, everything is in order.
Medical Transportation & Escort
Your Care Companion provides safe, reliable transportation to and from your outpatient surgery/procedure center or physician office — and stays with you throughout the process. No rideshares, no burdening family members, no uncertainty. Just a calm, presence from the moment you leave home to the moment you’re safely back on your road of recovery.
Day-of Companion & Advocacy
We communicate with your care team, receive and review your discharge instructions, make sure all your questions are answered, and ensure you understand your recovery plan before you leave the facility. You won’t walk out of that outpatient center or physician office feeling confused or overwhelmed.
Overnight Safety & Support
This is at the heart of what makes Curative Care by Design unique. Following your surgery/procedure, your Care Companion stays overnight in your home — through that critical first night when the effects of anesthesia are still present, medications are new, and the risk of complications is highest. We monitor your comfort, assist with immediate needs, and provide the kind of attentive, overnight presence that gives both patients and families genuine peace of mind. You will not be alone in those first vulnerable hours.
